About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

Information regarding how to obtain a visa for honeymoon in China.

Hi,

My partner and i live in Ireland and are Irish citizens, we are traveling to China for two weeks in September for our honeymoon. We have no idea how we go about obtaining a proper holiday visa.

When i research online hundreds of sites come up but we dont know if they are authentic and are affraid to post passports.

We would like to know if we can get a visa at the Chinese embassy in Dublin and if so how do we go about doing that such as how much the visa costs and whether we need to make an appointment. As I will be in Dublin on 5th of July.

Very kind regards
Michael

First, you need to keep in mind that a single entry China visa is valid for only 3 months from issue date, it is best to apply one or two months earlier. You can submit your applications to Chinese embassy in Dublin in person or by someone else entrusted. Visa fee is 40.00 Euro for single entry, and takes 3-5 working days by regular service. No appointment is required.

You should pay in bank draft issued by Bank of Ireland or Allied Irish Bank.
