Thank you Michelle, i explain situation below airport to hotel in Beijing

My wife and i arrive at Beijing airport on wednesday 10.10am from inland China flight 2hrs so we will not be tired,our flight to Thailand is next day thursday evening at 6pm, we plan to see mutianu or badaling part of the wall on our arrival day and do the tiananmen square and forbidden city next day in morning (thursday) so we are relaxed and can head for airport around 1pm to catch 6pm flight. We would prefer taxi for convenience, first day arrival at 10.10am we only need to go to hotel to change clothing and take a car to see the wall, many tour operators pick up at 1.00pm for the half day tour. Is this possible?
