how far is the distance from baggage claim - customs - transfer desk? porters?

I have so much luggage since we are moving as a family with a baby.  Is the transfer desk far from the baggage claim area?  And are there porters available to help us?  How much do you pay the porters?  Can you pay in USD or does it have to be RMB?

It is too far from the baggage claim area to the transfer desk. There are porters available in the airport and the cost depends on your luggage amount. You need to pay with RMB. Well, to be honest, it is not so safe to let the porter help you. If possible, you'd better do that by yourself or ask for the airport staff to help you.
