wish to travel to china in november 2012.

I am a Malaysian and holding Singapore PR. Wish to travel to China in November 2012. May I know when shall I start apply the Visa? What type of Visa that I need? Where and how to submit? What document do I need for the application? Thank you.

You should apply for the China visa about one month ahead of your departure time.  If you go to China for eightseeing, a L tourist visa will be proper for you. You may just apply for the visa from the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (CVASC). Documents needed include your passport, residence permit in Singpore, completely filled China visa application form V2011A & V2011B, one passport standard photo, round-trip air ticket and hotel booking receipt in China.
