About:China Transit Visa

I am a US citizen and I am travelling to Mongolia. I have 2 layovers in China.

One is in Guangzhou, and one is in Beijing. The longest layover is 5 hours. Do I need a transit visa?

You don't need any visa if you won't leave the airport area.
