About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Proof of payment from tour operator in Taiwan

From Taiwan, I shall be visiting China for three weeks starting July 5, 2012. I have booked a tour from a travel agency in Taiwan. The agency will process the payment only one week prior to the departure. In the meantine, I will be leaving on June 29, 2012 for Taiwan. My trip has been booked but I don't yet have the official proof of my payment. The airline fees from Taiwan to China are included in the package. Will the embassy accept to deliver the visa if I have not yet rceived the official proof of payment. If not, what can I do? One week before my trip to China, it will be June 28, 2012: the day before I take the plane to Taipei. Thank you. MJSimard

AS far as I know, the travel itinerary, tickets or reservations are not required if you apply in Canada. You can simply submit your tourist visa application to the Embassy/consulate/center.
