With the hotel reservation,plans have already been put  in place to stay with a family of a member of the project(Green map  for China),who also happens to be in aiesec too........so in this situation hotel reservation  would not be necessary..........

If you do not provide your hotel reservation, an invitation letter sealed by the foreign affairs department is needed. This is very troublesome, so I suggest you just order a hotel for just one or two days.
