Visa requirements for transit in China

We are doing the ancient city's tour from beijing and flying into xian, then I will fly from xian back to Beijing and then back to australia, what type of visa entry will be required. Does the tour cover the visa entry for the transfer from Beijing to xian? The tour number is 2012- SG05.
