No, there is no such news released. Did you try to pick up your visa at embassy? or still waiting for their call?

I made the travel agency to process my application to have tourist visa. The agent just said, i have to wait and it is still filed in the china embassy here in the Philippines. Im just worried because as what I've read and heard it only takes 4-5 days. but it's going on for a month now that i haven't received anything at all.

I just wonder if the ongoing island crisis has to do with it.

You shoudl try to contact the local China embassy or consulate to confirm whether the travel agency you entrusted is authorized or not? On the other, try to push the travel agency to process your visa at regular intervals.

Terrisica_Hall,

may I know what are those requirements requested by your agency? And does this new requirement is not in the actual requirements given by the china embassy? If so, be doubtful about it. Although on my part, i gave the requirements needed in one day. But unfortunately, it took longer as expected. You should then get your money back and documents. Good bless!

only the published requirement must be accomplished and bring with you to embassy , no need for travel agent , not unless you are busy

Yes I give all said requirements that same day I talked to her.She demand me to pay visa for 9k and she said that I need to pay my plane ticket also because it is needed. I paid it all. Tomorrow will be 1 month process already. She is asking for my registration form in my school that am enrolled this semester because China Embassy asking that requirement. How can i enrolled if I still waiting for my visa to visit China. My tour is ruined and also my studies. How can I know if she really processing my visa? I asked agent to help me because that time I am busy on my OJT. Last week I want to get all my documents she said my documents is on China embassy already. This is my question. Did the China Embassy accepting incomplete documents ( which that time my agent asking me another requirements which is my registration form)?

It is possible for the embassy to ask for more documents if necessary.

Sorry for the late reply, just got busy. I might process my application by 3rd quarter since my boss will need me and we are starting to get busy so I don't have a chance to apply again

As what I always do, go to the consular visa section by myself and i will know other requirements should the one i attach is incomplete. That solves a lot of problems. Visa application usually takes 4-5 days under normal application.
