About:China Visa on Arrival

VOA at luo hu

Hi there, I wonder if there's a high possibility for me to apply for VOA at luo hu port succesfully? I've been in China for several times. 3years ago, a year ago, and this time my 30 days tourist visa is about to expire. i'd like to go visit Hong Kong anyway, so is it ok to apply for VOA when i return from HK at luo hu port? many thanks!!!

You have single entry China tourist visa in hand, right? if yes, you can extend it at local PSB for another 30 days without leaving.

yes i've got single entry visa in hand. so would you suggest me on how to extend it? where is the local PSB in Guangzhou? do you have its website that i can look it up? thanks!!

Sorry, visa extension means you can stay for 30 more days in mainland China, no extra entry. If you will visit HK and back to Shanzhen again, you need to get a new visa.

but what if i'm not going to HK anymore, but i want to stay in china for 30 more days, i can just go to the local PSB, right? so i'm in Guangzhou now, where is the local PSB in Guangzhou, and also its website? many thanks!

The general Entry & Exit Administration Department under the Guangzhou PSB is located at No. 698 Dongfeng East Road. The phone number of 96897. The website is http://www.gdcrj.com/ (It is in Chinese).
