About:Chinese Embassy in Georgia

Living in Georgia, no residence card

Hello - I am an American living and working as a teacher here in Georgia. I work for the Ministry of Education and they do not give us a residency card. I finish in June and would like to go to China.
Can I get a tourist visa in the Chinese Embassy in Tbilisi? Even without a Georgian residence card?
How long does it take to get each one?

Since you have no residence card, the visa office will deny your application. You can go to HK, and apply one at the Office of the Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of P.R.C. in HKASAR. Or apply in US if possible.

For regular service, four working days are needed; for express service, three working days are needed;for rush service,you can obtain the visa on the second working day.

sorry if i show them marriage certificate with Georgian and invitation from china will they still deny my application?

It will not be a problem for you to get a visa there if you show them required documents. So, don't worry too much.
