do i need a transit visa in china with a spanish passport???

How many cities and how many hours each you will spend in China during the transit? These are the two main factors deciding whether you need a visa or not.

Just one city in china and it is just a 8h stop over, to proceed with my travel

Then, if you stay in the airport, no visa is needed.
