processing time needed to get china visa

I live in Charlotte, Iowa 52731  in Clinton county. Can I drive to Chicago and get my visa for China the same day or the next day or how long does it take?

The consulate offers Rush Service: 1-2 working days from the date of submitting the application and $60 will be charged. If the application is submitted before 11am, it could be picked up at 2:00pm on the same day.
