About:China Visa on Arrival

Are the key business requirements necessary at SZ ports?

Hi there,

Several emergency and business reasons were listed in the article. Do you need to have such reasons to apply at the SZ borders or can you also go for tourist purposes? Do you have to have residency on Hong Kong or just a regular entry stamp?

It is easy for you to get a Shenzhen visa on arrival, also it is ok for tourist purpose. But the 5-day Shenzhen visa allows you to stay within Shenzhen Special Economic Zone only. If you want to visit other cities of mainland China, you need to apply for a tourist visa in Canada before leaving. Shenzhen VOA does not require residency for HK.
