About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Waiver Question

I am flying into PVG from Japan on Thursday AM and leaving PVG for Paris on Friday EVE (with a 2 hour connection in PEK) Can I utilize the visa waiver program?

Since you need to transit two China cities (Shanghai and Beijing), a transit visa is needed. You should apply in advance in USA before you leave.
