I would like to take some household effects when I move from Chengdu to Beijing. I need to know how much it's going to cost to take my stuff on the same train I travel on.   Also, will there be porters (for a price, of course) who will help move the stuff from the cargo train to a taxi or other vehicle?

Hi, as I know, the price for luggage transportation is about CNY1.5/kg for the train from Chengdu to Beijing.But for a correct answer, you could consult the Chengdu Train Station. You need to take your luggage out of the train station by yourself, when you get out of the train station, there are many taxis are waiting for passengers, they will help you take your stuff to the taxi.
