Iam planing to go to on 16th june2012, is it late to apply for the visa on wednesday the 6thjune?

Hi, Nancy, do not wory! There is still time. Regular visa processing time is 4 working days. Provided that you have all the required documents and apply on Wesnesday, you can pick up your visa on June 11th. Express visa processing time is 3 working days(only available to those customers who submit applications to the visa counter before 12:00 at noon), this service will allow you to get the visa on June 8th.

The most important thing is whether you have all the required documents at hand, you can check this list:
1.Original passport remaining to be valid for at least 6 months from the date of application and with sufficient blank visa pages.
2. One completed Visa Application Form (Download) with a recently-taken passport photo;
3. Invitation letter from a Chinese organization or a permanent resident in China; or
4. Air ticket booking record (round trip) and hotel reservation.
