changchun events in the last week of june 2012

Good forum. I will be visiting Changchun the last week of June on business, but am interested in visiting the city for a weekend as well. Does anyone know if there are any festivals or events occurring June 23 - 24 or June 30 - July 1? Also, I know it is a relatively new city, but does it have any especially interesting architecture? Are there older areas or architecturally interesting temples worth visiting nearby?

It is the traditional Dragon Boat Festival on June. 23. People in Changchun also celebrate this festival. You can explore the traditional folk customs of this interesting festival at that time. You can go to the east side of Yatai Dajie of Dong Er Dao Jie in Changchun to visit the Wen Temple (Confucius Temple). In fact, Changchun is blessed with many fantastic natural and historical attractions. There is few interesting architectures as hot tourist spots in Changchun.
