invitation letter for ghanian passport holder

hi,i am Chinese, and my boyfriend is a Ghanian. i have to offer an invitation letter for him to apply for the visa to come to China for marriage. I am wondering whether i can send it to him by email or i need to sign it and scan to him. besides, it only needs my signature, right?do you have any other specific requirement? please kindly tell me how to do exactly, thank you very much!

The invitation letter for China visa application should be original. So, you need to sign it and send it by post to Ghana. Other requirements are copies of your ID Card, his passport, copy of his passport information page, application form for visa attached with photo, return ticket and hotel reservation. Sometimes, he may be required bank certificate as a proof to cover his expenditure in China.

Jenny from China again. i guess the hotel reservation is in no need, since we have a house here for him to live in, right? about the bank certificate, at least how much should he have in his account? and normally, how long he can possibly stay in China with such a visa?

If he will stay at your home, you should mention this in your invitation letter, and then the hotel reservation won't be required.  He has at least in his bank account 100 US dollars per day for his duration in China. Usually, he will be given a less than 30-day duration on the visa.
