returning to xian

I have a train leaving Xian-Shanghai on a monday at 2100 and would like to spend the day at Huashan. How long does it take to get back to Xian from the mountain? What is the quickest and most reliable way to get back to xian? (Really can't miss my train in the evening)How long would you recommend for hiking around the mountain?

Hi, it takes about two hours to be back to Xian from Huashan Mountain. The quickest way to get back to Xian is by train, which only takes about half an hour, but there is bus availble to get to Xian railway station directly from the mountain.
