how do i obtain a chinese tourist visa quickly if i am a student from india with us

I am a student in India having a US citizenship. My sister is studying in China. My parents have requested me to join them as they travel from US to visit her. How do I proceed, as I only have few weeks (2weeks) to accomplish all the requirements? I do not have the Letter Head of a Company or a High bank balance.

Where do you live in India? If you are a student there, it is easy for your to get a China tourist visa. Visa requirements are passport, application forms V2011A and V2011B, photos attached to the forms, return tickets, your student visa or residence permit in India. If time is limit to get an invitation letter and other documents from your sister, you may simply write in the application for Tourism only. in this case, return ticket and hotel reservation may be required. Financial proof may also be required.
