police clearance for work permit

I am South African and living in Dubai. I just got a job offer in Guangzhou and I am highly enthused to move there.One of the main requirements for obtaining a work permit is a Police Clearance Certificate. I had this done for the purpose of being employed in Dubai in late 2007.I wanted to know if the same Police Clearance Certificate that was issued to me in late 2007 for employment in Dubai, can be used for the application of a work permit in China in 2012?The issue is that it takes a minimum of 28 working days to issue this Certificate in South Africa, and time is just not a luxury right now.I would appreciate any feedback on this!Etienne

Sorry, Police Certificate should be within 6 months after issuance. The one you got in 2007 can not be used to apply for a China work visa.
