About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Transit via Guangzhou

Hi, I am an Australian permanent resident and I have a British passport. I am flying from Perth and stopping over in Guangzhou in China for 8 hours on my way to London at the end of June.

Could you please let me know if I will need a visa?

Thank you.

Sophie.

Hi, Sophie, if you just stay in the airport, no visa is needed.
