About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I am planning to fly with China Airways or Asia Airline in late June-early July

Hello,

I am having trouble down loading the Visa application form V2011A and supplementary form V2011B, can you please tell me what software i need to down load the application forms so that i can get them in to the Chinese Consulate in time for my travel arrangements.

Also, do i need to book the tickets before i can fill out the Visa application forms?

And i have heard that there are delays in the time it takes for the Visa application forms to be processed through the Canberra Chinese Consulate, is there enough time to get my applications through before i have to leave?

Hello, Andrea,

You need to install the Adobe Reader 6.0 first;

You need to provide tour itinerary, including flight and hotel booking when applying;

Normally, it takes 4 working days to process a visa application. As to your condition, if you apply now, even taking the dalays into account, the time is absolutely enough.

Thank you, what is the address that i need to send the visa application and supplementary form to?

And do i need to fill out the Working/Studying sections as i will only be in China in transit on the way there, and to visit a friend who lives there on the way back.

Andrea, you can mail the application form to the following adress:
VISA OFFICE,EMBASSY OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA, 15 CORONATION DRIVE, YARRALUMLA, ACT 2600,Canberra.

You need not to fill in the Working/Studying sections.
