Medical for Scholarship to study for 1 year in China (UK citizen)

Hi, I've applied for a 1 year scholarship to study in China.
The University I'm applying for does require a medical examination and they offer the form for download online. But it also states that you can have the examination done on arrival (as mentioned above) if you haven't done so already.

Is it more cost effective to complete the medical examination in the UK or wait until arrival in China?

Hi, Dan, actually you have to do medical examination both in UK and in China. Without the medical examination. you can not obtain the X visa. When you arrive in China, you need to apply the residence permit at the local Public Security Bureau within 30 days. The officials would ask you to do medical examination again at a nominated hospital in China.
