About:China Visa

Travelling to n .zealand via guangzhou by china southern airline in nov.2012.plane change time 18 hr

I and my wife are both senior citizens aged 73 and 63 years respectively.Waiting at the airport for 18 hrs is very difficult.Can we get visa for one day so that we can stay at Guangzhou and catch fligt for Auckland next day?

Hi, the easiest way is to apply stay permit at the frontier inspection office at the airport. With the stay permit, you can go out of the airport. Or you may apply for a China transit visa in advance before leaving.
