About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

I live in Halifax, N.S. How do I have documents notarized at a Chinese embassy?

I have accepted a teaching position at Qingdao Amerasia International School. I will be moving to Qingdao with my two children in August. The school is applying for a foreign expert certificate visa on my behalf. They have provided me with the list of documents they need to make the application. It says that my two children's birth certificates need to be notarized/attested by a Chinese embassy in Canada. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Since there is no embassy here, do I send the birth certificates to the Chinese embassy in Ottawa by courier?

Hi, Erin, you need to submit the birth certificates to the Chinese embassy in Ottawa in person. No courier service is accepted. To remind you, you need also to fill in an Application Form for Notarization or Authentication.
