Transportation to Stone Flower Cave

At Pingguoyuan Subway Station of Line 1 take Exit D. Then walk right for about 5-7 minutes and look for Bus 948. That is the bus that leaves at 9 a.m. Watch out for Chinese drivers who will tell you that that Bus doesn't go there and to take a car instead. They are trying to scam you. Then take Bus 948 to Bus stop Dong Zhuang Cun. That will be the 19th stop. From there there will be a divide in the road. Go left up the hill and then turn left. Again watch out for the Chinese drivers trying to scam you. You will then want to look for Bus Stop Dong Zhuang Zi and take Bus 833. You then get off at Shihuadong Lukou. That will be the 4th stop. You can then pay a driver (about 20 RMB for two people) to drive you up to the Cave .

To come home I would not recommend waiting for Bus 948 but to take Bus 833 instead. (We waited for about 1 1/2 hours and the bus never came - from 1:10 p.m. to 2:40 p.m.). You can take Bus 833 from Bus stop Shihuadong Lukou to Bus stop Di tie su zhuang zhan. Then take the Fang Shan Subway Line to Line 9 Subway Line, then take Line 9 and get off at West Railway Station Subway stop. I would also recommend taking a Taxi within the Railway Station and not out of it because the Taxi drivers outside of West Railway Station are going to try to scam you.
