About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Double entry visa or Multiple Visa for Beijing, Shanghai, Hongkong

Do we need a double entry or multiple entry visa if we are flying into Beijing, spend the night and 1 day there before boarding our cruise ship and a few days later visit Shanghai and Hongkong?

A double entry China tourist visa is enough. You are not required visa to Hong Kong.
