About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Can I get a Chinese tourist visa with my Uk passport whilst im working in Australia?

I am a british citizen on a year work visa in Melbourne. It expires in June and I want to then go to visit a friend in Beijing. I have invitation letter. Should I be able to get a visa in Melbourne china embassy? Do you have any tips?

Invitation letter is not required. But your application should be submited to Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in Melbourne. CVASC will collect visa fees and return processed applications on behalf of the Consulate General. A service fee will be charged. You can refer to their official website and make online appointment.
