About:Embassy & Consulates of Singapore in China

help me I lost my passport and everything in China

hi , i am singaporean , i from wuhan just arrive at zhangzhuo , i lost my passport id everything is been stolen .... i got nothing to prove , but i am going to work in a bar here at zhangzhuo , what can i do now ? should i ask the bar for the working papers ?

You need to report this to local Police station and apply for a temporary passport from your embassy or consulate in China. If necessary, ask for help from your employer for new work visa and residence permit.

You need to inform Singapore Embassy in Beijing (+86-10-6532 1115) or Consulate General of Singapore in Shanghai （+86-21-6278 5566）， whichever is nearer. The embassy will guide you what to do. Usually a temporary passport will be issued.
