About applying China visa with newly issued passport

hi,pls i want to ask sth about visa issue. i just got a new passport, can i apply for a Chinese visa? or people said i can only apply for the visa after six months, bxz it's a fresh passport, is that right?

Your newly-issued passport is ok for applying for China visa. It required to be valid for over 6 months with at least 2 blank visa pages.
