Chinese visa HK and Macau

Hi, I am planning my trip to China and would like to visit Hong Kong and Macau as well. The Chinese Embassy only offers 2-entry visa for tourists from Germany. Do I need to enter China again when going from HK to Macau? I am trying to figure out if 2 entries are enough if I fly to China, go to HK and Macau and then back to China. Thanks in advance for a reply.

A Double-entry visa is enough. From Germany to China, you enter China for the first time; from mainland China to HK, you exit mainland China; from HK to Macao do not need to use an entry; from Macao to mainland China, you need to use an entry, thus in a word, your whole tour just need two entries.
