Bringing in Daughter's Passport for China Visa

My daughter is traveling to China in July to study for one month at Donghua University. She lives in New Mexico and attends New Mexico State University but is originally from California. My husband and I are also originally from California but now live in New Mexico. He and I are attending a funeral in Los Angeles and were hoping to bring her passport in to the Los Angeles consulate to get the China Visa. Will we be able to do this?

Yes, since now your residing place, New Mexico is under the consular jurisdiction of the Los Angeles consulate, you can apply on her behalf there.
