im elizabeth andaya i would like to asked from you if there is a requirement such as show money for applying a tourist visa there in china? pls reply soon thanks..i leave here in saudi arabia for two years work contract. My original country is from philippines..Another question is it possible for me to apply here in china embassy in saudi arabia for a trourist visa..but my  ticket will be from philippines to china instead of riyadh to china..because i have my vacation this coming oct in philippines but i want to spend half of my vacation in china but i will apply here in saudi.

it's too early to apply for a China visa now, you vacation will be in Oct.  A China visa is only valid for 3 months from the date of issue. I advise you apply for the visa in your home country when you are on vacation there.
