About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

About: Transit Visa

I am a citizen of Turkmenistan. Right now, I am studying in Japan. I am planning to visit my home country this summer break. I bought flight tickets from Tokio to Beijing, and Beijing to Ashgabat (Turkmenistan). I will be in Beijing airport less than 24 hours. Will I need a transit visa?

No visa is required if you will stay in the airport transit area and depart within 24 hours.
