About:China Visa Application in USA

Expiring passport with a 2 year visa

I want to get a two year visa for china as I expect my family of 3 will visit again in a year or two. If one of my daughters passsport expires in 10 months will the visa be no good after that since we have to apply for a new one on a year? Should I apply for a one year multi-entry visa only?

The visa on old passport is ok for use to enter China, you just need to bring both old and new passport when travel to china. BTW, the personal information must remains unchanged on the new passport.
