may I know where you live? because if your location belongs to consular jurisdiction of the General Consulates of China in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane, you need to make online appointment at one of their CVASC website.0

So, jour visa application should be submited to Chinese embassy in either in person or by someone/agent entrusted. No appointment is required.0
