hello my name is sam my friend has overstay for 11 month in china and she want to go back home .

now she has surrender her self to the local police station,but still after paying 5000 RMB they have detained her for one month .my question is ,is it right to detained her for that one month and wye

1. The act of the police station is not in accordance with Chinese law.
2. You can turn to a lawyer for help;or go to the Germany embassy or consulate in China for help.
