need to know visa application process for china(shangai & shenzhen) from hk

HelloI am travelling to HongKong on business trip will obtain a business visa have already applied. I would be staying in HK for a year or so. In the mean time I need to travel to China from there. Friends from HK has said apply from India as cannot do from HK anymore.Can someone advise how to go about it. I am presently in Trivandrum, Kerala. What documents needed , where to download form, Is flight tickets mandatory - I do not have dates decided yet. Would a bank state ment of present date do, even if I apply after a week. How long would the processing take ? Do I need to go there- I am completely blank. Can someone help here ... Thanks in advance.

Yes, you may refused to apply China visa in Hong Kong, but because you will stay in HK for a year, it is also not applicable to apply China visa now in India. A single entry China visa is valid for 3 months only, if you apply too early, it expires soon. You are recommended to go to HK first, and try to apply in HK for China visa, if they refuse to process your application, you can send back your application to India, let your family or friend do it on your behalf.
