Need to know Visa application process for China(Shangai & shenzhen) from HK

Hello

I am travelling to HongKong on business trip will obtain a business visa have already applied. I would be staying in HK for a year or so. In the mean time I need to travel to China from there. Friends from HK has said apply from India as cannot do from HK anymore.

Can someone advise how to go about it. I am presently in Trivandrum, Kerala. What documents needed , where to download form, Is flight tickets mandatory - I do not have dates decided yet.

Would a bank state ment of present date do, even if I apply after a week.

How long would the processing take ? Do I need to go there- I am completely blank.
