Short Stay in China

I need to stay for 8 days in China as a Dutch residence to attend a meeting at our Headquarters.

Do I need to apply for a Visa? I heard that for short stays with a Dutch Passport, you don't need to apply for a Visa.

As far as I know, Dutch passport holders are not exempted from visa. You need a visa to visit China.
