About:Chinese Embassy in Brazil

British national in Brazil needs entry visa after securing work in China.

I am a British national living and working in São Paulo and I have secured a job which begins in Shanghai in August.

Could you explain to me how I might be able to apply and which documentation I would need?

1. You can apply a Chinese Z at the Consulates of P.R.C in the Federative Republic of Brazil in Sao Paulo.
2. The following documents are needed:
(1) You should have your employee prepare the invitation letter by a authrized unit in China and the work permit for foreigners; then ask your employee to mail the two documents to you;
(2) Phsical Examination Record for Foreigners and phsical examination result.
(3) Your original passport with at least two blank pages and with a validity of at least 3 months;
(4) Two recent photos (3*4);
(5) Application Form: V2011A and V2011B
(6) Proof of residence in Brazil

Hi Ruben, most embassies and consulates do not accept mail applications. So you are suggested to apply through someone else or an agency if necessary. You can also comfirm this information directly with the embassy. Tel: 005561-21958200
