About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Do I have to attend in person for a visa application, or can I send all documents with my wife?

How long is the wait if I do not have an appointmen at the Sydney centre?

1.Regularly you need not to attend in person, so you can send all the required documents with your wife.
2.You may be required to go to the Chinese Consulate-General of Sydney for an interview if the Chinese Consulate-General deems it necessary.
3.You are required to make an online appointment for application submission and obtain queue number upon arrival at the center then submit the application when the number is called.
