About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Submission of requirements & Original Passbook

Me & my husband plan to visit Beijing in May.Is it okay if he will be the only one to appear at the Embassy & handcarry both our documents/requirements?How about the passbook balance, would it suffice if it's a joint account & our updated balance is around 100K instead of separate bank books with 50K each? Thanks!

Yeah, your husband can go to the embassy to apply for the visa for you on your behalf, but the visa application form should be filled and signed by yourself. A joint bank account is ok for you, but you have to provide your marriage certificate to prove your relationship.
