About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

VISA REQIRMENTS WHEN ARRIVING IN CHINA IF STAY WITH MY WIFE .

I have a l type visa 90 days to stay with my wife who lives in china urumqi i put here addess on visa application and contact information the consulate general office in toronto said that is al i need to do .but i heard i must also go to local security office to check in i am married to my wife we married in china urumqi in december 2011.

China visa Application Service Center in Toronto only accept postal visa applications from the Provinces of Ontario(except Ottowa) and Manitoba. I don't think you will be granted with the visa when you are in China. If your duration in China will expire, I advise you go to the local public security bureau to apply for an extension of stay. Or If you pan to apply for a new China visa and you don't want to exit China, you may turn to China Travel Service HK Limited for help.
