About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Do I need to be in Phils to apply for China Visa?

I am currently working in Hong Kong (but a Filipino passport holder with expired multiple entry china visa). Can I send my passport over to my parents in Phils and have them apply china visa on my behalf? Chinese embassy here in Hong Kong can only give me single entry so I want to apply in Phils to get multiple entry visa again. Hope you can advise. Thanks so much in advance!

Can you provide proof of frequent trip to mainland China? I heard that personal appearance is required for those who are 16-21 years old when applying for a China visa in Philippines. I'm not sure whether you will be required to have an interview for the visa application if you apply the visa in Philippines. You may ask your parents in Phils to call the embassy to confirm this first.
