what are the requierments when staying at friend`s house,instead in a hotel?

Hello,I `m a Dutch citizen,resident in Japan. Next time visiting China,instead of booking a hotel room,my friend in Zhengzhou will provide accommodations for me.One of your staff members told me that I will need a letter from that friend stating the circumstances of my stay at her home.What kind of information must my friend provide to you?Please, give me all of the details.Thank you for your kind assistance.Best regards,                                                      Nieborak Ewa

Just an private invitation letter from your friend in Zhengzhou stating that you will stay at his/her home will be ok. His/her valid address and contacts in China should also be included in the letter. Remember to ask your friend to provide you copy of his/her Chinese Identity Card as well.
