About:Chinese Consulates in South Africa

My wife and I are visiting China in June as part of a sea cruise with Royal Caribbean line.

We will be disembarking for a day at Xiamen and then reboarding and continuing to our final destination in Shanghai. Do we need a visa for 2 entries for our trip?
