About:China Visa on Arrival

Shenzhen/ Guangzhou Visa on Arrival

1. If i am going to apply visa on arrival in shenzhen, can i depart China from Guangzhou airport? How much will be the visa cost?
2. If i am taking train from Hongkong to Guangzhou, can I apply visa at Guangzhou? How much will the visa cost?

1. You can apply visa on arrival in Shenzhen, it costs 160RMB, but the Shenzhen visa on arrival doesn't entitle you to enter Guangzhou, therefore, you can't depart China from Guangzhou airport.

2. If you are taking train from Hong Kong to Guangzhou, you can't apply visa on arrival at Guangzhou.

1. In this case, how can I go to Guangzhou?
is it ok if i go to Guangzhou from Shenzhen and leave China via Shenzhen?
2. Will I get caught? if I get caught, what is the punishment?

1. An on-arrival visa at the entry port of Shenzhen only allows you stay within Shenzhen for less than 5 days. If you do plan to travel from Shenzhen to Guangzhou, you should apply for a China visa at the China embassy or consulate in your country in advance.

2. You will be forbidden to enter China, but won't be published.
