If you have had a China visa on your passport, no matter old or new, it will be helpful for you to apply for another one. You may just go to the China Embassy in Afghanistan to apply for the visa. You may also entrust a friend or a reliable travel agency to do it for you. If you go to China for sightseeing, the documents include your valid passport, a fulfilled visa application form, copy of your old passport with former China visa stamp, round-trip air ticket and bank statement. It costs 30 US dollars to apply for a single entry China visa.
